Trina Garratt

About the Artist...
Trina Garratt is a Special FX artist from New Zealand and has studied at Whitecliffe College of Art and Design and the Cut-Above Academy. She works with mixed medias, sculpture, photography and body makeup. Interestingly, Special FX's (Effects) artists are creators of surrealistic make-up on fantasy films and sometimes are requested to work with forensic medical displays.
Some of Trina's accomplishments include working on movie sets, music videos and TV series such as "Xena, Warrior Princess"; "Back to Back"; and "Cleopatra". She also worked on a display piece on forensic science for the Auckland War Memorial Museum. She recently collaborated with Melanie FerDon and Connie Lene Johnston in an exibition at The Quarry - Yvonne Rusk Gallery in Whangarei, New Zealand.
